Foundation School, Gurudas Mathia, Buxar is a seat of learning under the aegis of the
LORD BUDDHA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SOCIETY. The school believes Mahatma Buddha's Marg of eliminating darkness of illiteracy by enlightening width the lamp of education & knowledge.
The school is located in the lap of nature on 2 acres 33 decimal piece of land on the south eastern part of the historical city of Buxar, encompassed by the river Ganges in the northern side. Buxar was chosen by Lord Rama as the right place to begin his exercise of elimination of demons (symbol of darkness and evilness).Lord Rama ultimately succeeded to get victory on evil forces (Ravana) and established high moral standards to be followed by the generation to generation.
In the medieval period again Buxar became the battlefield of the historical freedom movement popularly known as battle of Buxar. We-as the management of Foundation School-laid the foundation of the battle against the illiteracy through Foundation School, Buxar. The most revered saint Vishwamitra performed his historical Yagna (which is symbol of enlightenment & sacrifice) in presence of Rama & Laxmana as his disciple in Charitravan. Charitravan itself pronouncing the importance of character building.
